Facts About Child Safety

  • Between 2 million and 2.5 million children are injured or killed by hazards in the home
  • Injuries are one of the leading causes of hospitalization in children under age 5
  • An estimated 40% of children's deaths and 50% of unintentional child injuries occur in or around the home.
